"My decision to focus my professional career on caring for patients with cancer was based both on the experiences of my loved ones as well as on the opportunities I have had and continue to have taking care of people facing these diseases.  I am fortunate to have learned from the best caregivers in the field of oncology, but more importantly I remain continually humbled by the strength and perseverance of those who have entrusted their care to me.  My personal philosophy as a cancer physician is to identify every possible treatment option for my patients and to help them determine the best therapy they should pursue."
